With a background in teaching and a zest for embracing new challenges, Gunjan's journey has taken her from the realm of education to the world of cybersecurity.

With eight years of teaching experience, Gunjan moved to New Zealand in 2019, seeking new horizons and opportunities. Embracing her passion for teaching, she continued her journey by volunteering and working as a relief teacher in early childhood centres, positively impacting the lives of young learners.

However, while in New Zealand, Gunjan rediscovered her deep-rooted interest in technology and security. Recognising the significance of cybersecurity in today's interconnected world, she made a career change and became a full-time cybersecurity student at Unitec. Armed with a thirst for knowledge and a determination to make a difference, Gunjan immersed herself in the world of cybersecurity.

Today, Gunjan is both a student and an Information Security Analyst with Unisphere, where she leverages her risk assessment, technical writing, and vulnerability management skills to assist customers in enhancing their cybersecurity posture. She actively promotes a cybersecurity aware culture, understanding its critical role in protecting individuals and organisations from digital threats.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Gunjan finds joy in exploring the picturesque landscapes of Aotearoa through hiking. She also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, whipping up delicious meals, and expressing her vibrant energy through Bollywood dancing. In her leisure time, Gunjan cherishes spending quality moments with her family and friends.
